Milo the Miner like a true artiste loved to travel. He had heard of Kolkata, the bustling city of world migrants like Armenians, Jews, Chinese, Anglo Indians, British, French and was dying to reach to its shores. He finally did come here and was overwhelmed with the hidden nostalgia at every nook and corner of the burgeoning city. The divergence within the genre of cuisines being churned and stirred and cooked across every narrow lane and street fascinated him.More About Us

Came here with a few of my friends. The restaurant is a mining themed one. The ambience is nice and the decoration is done keeping the theme in mind. Coming to the food we had Murgh Malai kebab and garlic bread for starters and chicken Tikka masala with peas pulao and mutton biryani for main course. We finished our dinner with white chocolate mousse. We also had the virgin sex on the beach which is a cocktail.
The best items were the Murgh Malai kebab and the mutton biryani. The mocktail is also one of the best here.
The service was very quick and the staff was also very polite.Pooja KhatriView All
An unique themed restaurant, it gives u a real essence of mining, with all statement written on the wall, dim light, matching chairs'n'tables.Staff behaviour is really good. And coming to food it is mind blowing... I would have tried another 5-6 dishes but my stomach didn't supported me :(. All from starters to mocktails to maincorse to desserts were too good. We went there for a team dinner, and have ordered in mocktails- Shirly temple- it was really refreshing with burstings flavours.
As starter I had tandoori pomfret, a must try- fresh fish grilled to perfection with some spices.
For mains i had opted for italian and had ordered 💗(dill :p) rubbed atlantic salmon which was served on mashed potato bed and had fresh vege salad.
For desserts we had deep fried ice cream, tooooooo good it was...A must must must havewala item it is...Priya DasView All
A decent place where you can actually hang out with your friends. Staff members are so polite and friendly.
The overall ambience & food both were equally good! You'll find some delicious Mughlai & Indian cuisine at this place!
In mocktail section Barman's Pitcher was very good which had red bull inside.
In starters we had Jhinga Khai Bary- Wowwww ! Just amazing taste..
You'll find a variety of items to choose in main course....Dill Rubbed Atlantic Salmon is a delicious italian preparation.
Dip Fried Ice Cream was excellent.
I would recommend this place if you want good food.Santanu KhanView All
So I recently visited this place and i must admit they are truly maintaining their theme of Mining and the ambience is just perfect to it, you will find no other place with such ambience in Kolkata.
I tried the Jamaican Mojito which was perfectly sweet and sour with a spicy kick to it.
For starters we tried their classic Kala Patthar and Mutton Seekh Kababs. I loved the perfectly cooked juicy and succulent Kala Patthar which is their Classic Chicken Satay. The Mutton Seekh Kabab was cooked to perfection and perfectly spicy.
For starters I tried the Bhuna Mutton, Mutton Do Pyaza, Dal Makhni and Subz Pulao.
For dessert, I tried the Deep Fried Ice-cream, I loved the coconut-ty crust on the fried ice-cream and best part was the presentation, which was amazing the way they presented a dessert that looked like Savoury dish.
The staff are well trained and service is amazing.
I definitely Recommend Everyone to Visit this place.Avipsa Roy ChowdhuryView All
If you want to have great and delicious multi cuisines in a perfect ambience and light then this place is the best choice. For the appetisers KALA PATTHAR & GARLIC BUTTER PRAWNS were delicious and filled with so much flavours. As it was a multi cuisine restaurant we had options of Indian, Italian and Chinese. We went for Indian and trust it was a great experience. GARLIC NAN, DAL MAKHANI, SUBZ PULAO and MURGH BHARTA was so perfect. And lastly in the we had WARM NUTTY BROWNIE.
I am going to visit again.Arpan RahaView All

Ever been to a mine?
If no, a visit to this place gives you a first class experience of having lunch undergrounds. The ambience is beautiful. Rate it 5 on 5. The music is perfect. And the service, excellent. Now, highlighting the most important point i.e food. Well they serve a variety of cusines like north indian, italian, oriental and thai. We ordered:
In mocktails - Shirley temple- It had the perfect blast of grenadine syrup, lime juice and sprite.
In starters - Xacuti fried fish fingers- Crispy fried fish fingers served with our always favourite french fries and honey mustard dip. Crunchy fried chicken- Saucy and spicy chicken wings served with french fries and salad. This particular dish is highly recommended. It had some amazing flavours.
In main course - Mixed Haka noodles. Oriental chicken - This dish had the perfect blend of chicken and black bean sauce. The chicken and the sauce both were cooked to perfection.
In Desserts - Classic cheesecake- The cheesecake was soft and of 'melt-in-mouth' texture with added flavours of lemon creame and topped with blueberry sauce.
Tutti frutie- This was excellent with perfect proportions of various icecreams, fruits and nuts.Somashree MondalView All
Located in AD block (Salt Lake) Kouzina Mining Co. is a good place for lunch / dinner.
They've got interesting decorations and trendy music playing.
They serve a wide range of food under North Indian, Chinese & Continental cuisines.
Following are the dishes:
This is a great place to dig some unique delicacies of food. The ambience is lovely a very uncommon theme of a coal mine, loved the ambience.
n moctails there was Jamaican Mojito, it was a minty and little spicy drink. It was nice.
Then for starters there were Kala Patthar and Mutton seek kebabs. Kala patthar is chicken on skewers its amazing and something unique, seek kebab was perfectly coocked and soft.
In the main course there was butter naan, masala kulcha, dal makhani and chicken bharta. All of them were amazing just loved the taste of food, it was very light.
In deserts there was deep fried ice cream, a scoop of vanilla ice cream deep fried in oil with a bater on it. Something really great i would suggest its a must try.
Service was very good. Loved the expirience. The Foodie FolksView All
Located in Salt Lake sector 1, Kouzina mining co. is a coal mine themed restaurant serving amazing cuisines to provide you a fine dining experience.
We ordered :
The food tasted very good. Here I must praise their quality and quantity. The service was pretty fast and faced no such hussle in that area.
Much recommended place if you're looking for somewhere to eat near the Salt Lake area.Aantarika SamantaView All
Oh , I just loved this place. From food to ambiance to staff everything was amazing. They had personalised plates with a diffferent quote on every plate. There were quotes written over walls, all around. The dim lighting and the decor was going with the name. The staffs were well dressed and courteous. The cleanliness was adequate. The food!!! The quantity, quality and taste of the food, was perfect. A must visit.Sakshi AgarwalView All
An impromptu luncheon found me at Kouzina Mining Company with my friend and her family. The restaurant is another one to join the culture of themed dining. The wine glasses and plastic slippery coasters aside, pretty much everything tries to give you the vibe of a mine. As a fan of yellow lights, I loved the ambience! You could also pose with helmets and shovels if you were so inclined. -The portions for appetizers (Mushroom Duplex and Jalapeno Cheese Balls) were rather small though the food in itself was worth savouring. -Cottage Cheese Steak was a novelty to me and I liked it despite the occasionally burnt bits that were to be found here and there. -Mint Lemonade was as refreshing as I expected it to be. Service was pleasant and fast. Located just off island number 3, this place is hard to miss and a welcome addition to Salt Lake's new crop of restaurants. I thoroughly enjoyed the various experiments with vegetarian food that the menu had to offer.SucharitaView All
Last night, me and my friends had the sudden urge to go out and paint the town red. But none of our members could decide upon a single place to settle down at. Therefore, all of us agreed upon having our dinner at Kouzina Mining, a new place in our neighbourhood. Okay, I have to admit, it is quite eccentric to combine the genre of food with the theme of mines!! As soon as we stepped in, the mild and luxurious ambience reflected a compensating sensation of satisfaction. Our food arrived, and I simply cannot get over the delicious range of cuisines Kouzina Mining had to offer in our times of desperate hunger. That was wow! Being a Bengali, I suffer from heartaches for sweets, and till date that was the best Gulab Jamun with ice cream i have ever had. Thank You Kouzina Mining, for that wonderful experience.! Thumbs Up for that! Good job and great start. Gonna visit soon!Nupur RamsisariaView All
My family and I always head for fancy dinners for weekends. Being the new restaurant in the town we had to explore it and I must say it was an amazing experience. ‘The Mining’ theme is magical, starting from the cutleries to the wall decors and the ambience all were mesmerising. The lip smacking food along with the spectacular garnishing was just out of the world. I give it a 10/10, I am suggesting all my buddies to visit it once and I am definitely coming back again and again.Ishita RahutView All
